After alot of speculation regarding the state of their marriage ,Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is to divorce her French husband after 18 months of marriage.This is according to an exclusive report by Sunday Mirror.
The publication claims the X Factor judge has begun formal legal proceedings to end the marriage between her and partner Jean-Bernard, 35.They are said to have quietly split.
Cheryl, 32, met entrepreneur Jean-Bernard in Cannes in the midst of the annual glitzy film festival in 2014 and married after just three months of dating.

16 days after Williams Esther, bathed her neighbor,Mrs. Mabel Enwongomfon–Umoh with a bucket of hot water during a minor argument,she has blamed the devil for her wicked act .

The incident, which happened on Christmas eve, has left Mabel in excruciating pain as she sustained severe burns on her chest, breasts, neck and a part of her face, it has also deprived her two months old baby from being breastfed because of her breast injuries.

Esther, a househelp before her action landed her in police custody, spoke with Saturday PUNCH before her arraignment, saying even though she knew the hot water could inflict severe injury on her neighbour, she did it out of anger.

"I'm sorry. I was pushed by the devil to do it. I wish I didn't do it. After I did it, people were beating me before I was arrested. I feel bad. I'm sorry. Everybody in the house makes trouble, not only me," she said.

While Esther had since been remanded in police custody until she satisfies the bail conditions imposed by the court; a bail of N500,000 and two sureties in like sum among other conditions, and the matter adjourned till March 9, 2016, Mabel, who has been bedridden since the incident happened, says she has missed breastfeeding her baby.

"Sometimes, I would see milk coming out of my breasts, which was a sign that my baby was crying but there was nothing I could do," she told Saturday PUNCH.

She said her baby had been feeding on formula.She recalled that her first child could not stand what had become of her face and body the first time she and the two-month-old baby visited her in the hospital.

"She ran away and refused to come inside until they went back home, but she has now got used to it," she said.

When our correspondent visited Mabel during the week, even though she had been discharged, she was still unable to go home owing to unpaid medical bill. Thus, she remained the hospital's guest.

T.I. may have to start mining for some gold of his own because at least one jewelry store is done with him, claiming he walked off with a ton of their bling and never anted up.

Aydin & Co in Georgia says in a new lawsuit it delivered an 18.5 karat white gold bracelet, a ring and yellow gold rosary to the rapper in 2014 and T.I paid $20k. Problem is … he still owes $44k.

That's just the tip of the iceberg. According to the lawsuit, during the decade T.I. was one of its shoppers, he stiffed them out of more than $400k.

Altogether, Aydin's gunning for T.I. to the tune of $700k. T.I. has however said the lawsuit is BS.

When the markets are down .... that is a prediction to me that global wars and conflicts will be decreasing in a year or two. When defense stocks increase .... they are projecting more wars and conflicts 2 years in the future. This is why this changing sentiment on defense stocks concerns me. There is now a growing sentiment that wars and conflicts are going to escalate in the next year or two .... and we may see that translated in rising defence stocks. There is also going to be a political change in Washington this year ... and I suspect that the next President .... regardless of who he or she is .... is going to boost the Pentagon's budget.

Buhari To Honour Outstanding Athletes On January 21

Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari, is set to honour all athletes that won different medals for the nation in various international sporting tournaments in 2015.

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung, confirmed that the President would host the athletes at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday, January 21.

Among those yet to be rewarded are the Golden Eaglets of 1985, who were promised houses for winning the maiden edition of the FIFA U-17 World Cup in China and the current FIFA U-17 world champions.

Others are the victorious national men’s Basketball team who won the 2015 FIBA Africa Basketball Championship in Tunisia, Team Nigeria at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Samoa, and World Scrabble Champion, Wellington Jighere.

In November last year, President Buhari assured the 1985 batch of Golden Eaglets that his administration would fulfill the promises made 30 years ago.

The promises were made during a reception held at Dodan Barracks with the players, in celebration of their outstanding victory.

In a statement on November 10 by a spokesman for the President, Mr Garba Shehu, Buhari said it had been brought to his attention that a directive which he gave to the state governments at the time had not been complied with.

“It is a pity that those promises were never fulfilled,” he said.

Former spokesperson to immediate past President Goodluck Jonathan, Doyin Okupe, says he will never go to prison or be jailed despite all the corruption revelations coming out from the last administration. Speaking through his twitter handle, Okupe said despite the fact that he served in the previous government, he never engaged in any corrupt practices nor was he involved in any contract signing.
