The FC Barcelona Lassa futsal side took an important win this Friday in the local derby against Catgas Santa Coloma. Despite the absences of Lozano and Ferrao, Marc Carmona's team excelled in a demanding and often intense contest. Goals from Dyego (2), Juan Emilio, Aicardo and Saad gave the blaugranes the victory in the Palau.
The game got off to a frenetic start with the home side taking the lead in the opening minutes thanks to a strike from Dyego, the assist coming from Wilde. Nevertheless, Santa Coloma reacted quickly and Dani Salgado brought the visitors level. The contest entered a calmer period before Barça took the initiative once again. Tolrà missed a good chance before the team from just outside Barcelona had their best spell, blaugrana keeper Paco Sedano had to be at his best to keep them at bay. Just when the visitors were getting on top, Juan Emilio scored his first ever goal for the first team, the youngster helped by Aicardo to make it 2-1 at the break.
Improvement after the restart
The second half started as the first did, Dyego scoring to make it 3-1. Carmona's team seemed more settled after the break and their superiority was underlined when Aicardo made it 4-1. Just a minute later Saad added another after Batería's shot had been well saved. 5-1 up, Barça had the win in the bag and despite Santa Coloma pulling one back through Adolfo, on loan from the blaugranes, there was never any serious worry about the victory. Marc Carmona's side are now on 45 points in the league, consolidating their second place in the table.
