President Buhari is currently in Benin Republic for the 11th summit of the Heads of State and Government of the Niger Basin Authority. He arrived Benin Republic today (Jan 8 , 2016).

The President was received by the Prime Minister of Republic of Benin Mr Lionel Zinsou and Nigeria's Ambassador to Benin Republic Amb. Lawrence Obisakin, Minister of Water Resources Suleiman Adamu and Minister of State Foreign Affairs Hajia Khadija Bukar Ibrahim at the Cotonou International Airport.

Head of states pictured at the summit were President Buhari, President Boni Yayi of Benin Republic, President Iddris Deby of Chad, President Issoufou Mohammadou of Niger Republic and President Faure Gnassingbe of Togo.

New Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane had a training session with his side as his prepares them for his first match against Deportivo La Coruna on Saturday . Also , during his press conferences as Real Madrid's new manager declared Cristiano Ronaldo 'untransferable'.

When asked about the interest that Paris Saint-Germain have in signing the player and he said:

'He is the soul of this club and the stories make me laugh because while I'm here he is not going to leave. He's right. What can I say. He knows me well. I also have my opinion of him.'

Asked about how he believed he would fare as Real Madrid coach he said:

'I believe things will go very well, very well indeed. When you look at the quality we have in the team I can't imagine anything else.'

He also said that no players are leaving or coming to the club in the January transfer window

'I was here under Ancelotti working alongside Paul Clement. I already have the confidence of the players. I am going to sleep well tonight. We have trained well and I am ready for this challenge.'

Lagos state government set to establish mobile courts, devices strategies to tackle cybercrime

The Lagos State Government on Thursday announced plans to establish functional Mobile Courts in the State to facilitate prompt trial of violators of the law, especially environmental and traffic offences.

Lagos Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Adeniji Kazeem, who disclosed this at a media parley with Judiciary Editors and Correspondents in Alausa, said the Mobil Courts will operate in full compliance with the rules of natural justice, equity and good conscience.

He said more importantly, the citizens appearing before the Courts would be afforded their constitutional rights and fair hearing.

Specifically, Kazeem said the Mobile Courts will, among others, address the prosecution of violators of the State Environmental Law and Traffic Offences, among others.

While observing that cybercrime had become a menace in the State as more criminals are exploiting the convenience of the internet to commit diverse range of criminal activities, Kazeem said his Ministry has devised strategies to work closely with the Police and other stakeholders to tackle cybercrime cases.

Kazeem also pledged to introduce the use of information technology to enhance judicial reforms in order to accelerate dispensation of justice.

He said: "Crime is a serious issue that the State is set to tackle headlong through the creation of crime data that would also assist the Police, the lawyers and other stakeholders in fighting crime effectively and I want to assure Lagosians that the State Government is committed to touching their lives, especially the common man, through enhanced access to justice."

Kazeem, however, solicited for the cooperation of all stakeholders, including the Judiciary, Police, Prisons and the Media to work in harmony as partners in progress with the Ministry.

Four days after the arrest of the National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Olisa Metuh, by officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, his family has cried out, demanding that he should be released or charged to court.

In a statement, yesterday by Chief Gilbert Metuh for the Obi-Ezeani- Nnewi family, it said that the charges for which the PDP's spokesperson was arrested had not be known to him, the family and the public.

The family raised alarm that it was worried about the health and safety of Metuh. Continue...

It will be recalled that officials of the EFCC, Tuesday, arrested Olisa Metuh for interrogation and he has since remained there.

The family's statement said, among other things: "Whereas the charges for which Chief Metuh is being detained for over 48 hours now had not been formally made known.

"We have confronted our son with the allegations (in the media) and he assured us that they are completely false."

The operatives, four in number, came in a White unmarked Toyota Hiace bus and picked Metuh from his Prince and Princess residence, Abuja.

A statement by his Special Assistant, Richard Ihediwa on Tuesday read: "Officials of EFCC arrived the Abuja home of the spokesman of the opposition PDP, Chief Metuh, inviting him to follow them to the commission's headquarters.

"Upon enquiry for the reasons for the invitation, the officials stated that he has some issues to clear with the commission. They also said he was not being arrested but friendly invited. The operatives, four in number, came in a White unmarked Toyota Hiace bus."

Washington Times: Missing U.S. Hellfire missile located in Cuba

One of the most advanced U.S. missiles was unintentionally shipped to Cuba in 2014, according to a report Thursday evening in the Wall Street Journal.

The Hellfire missile was supposed to be sent to Europe for a training mission, the Journal reported, cited "people familiar with the matter."

Shipping such a sophisticated weapon to a communist dictatorship with which the U.S. at the time didn't have diplomatic relations and has been under U.S. embargo for a half-century would be among the worst mistakes of its kind in U.S. military history, the sources said.

The Hellfire is an air-to-surface missile that acquired its name from the Pentagon's specification for a "helicopter-launched, fire and forget" missile. It equips, among other weapons platforms, the U.S. military's Predator drones.

WNU Editor: Here is an easy prediction .... that missile has been disassembled and reversed engineer as soon as the Cubans got their hands on it. There has to be far more to this story than what they are telling us.

Caitlyn Jenner has canceled her upcoming 5-city speaking tour. The tour was to begin in late February, stopping in Toronto, Vancouver, Denver, San Francisco and Seattle, but "those dates conflicted with another work commitment," her publicist, Alan Nierob, said.
In October, Unique Lives spokesman Howard Szigeti said Jenner's lectures would focus on "Caitlyn's personal journey with an inspiration-message of acceptance towards the transgender community and what it takes to lead an authentic life, followed by a short, moderated, question-and-answer period."

As of Thursday, the webpage for Jenner's tour was no longer operable.

Bruce's speeches used to sell out on the regular. Maybe Caitlyn needs a few tips on how to fill the house like Bruce used to do.
